Wilton Maine's most controversial blues-punk band

Collectively spellbound by the lure of sweaty rock 'n' roll, The Delta Roots were brought together in early 2009 for a two-and-a-half year sprint to a destination unknown. With a series of raucous shows at rundown jukejoints in central Maine, the band quickly developed a reputation as Wilton's loudest and most polarizing punk-blues band. After burning bridges at the region's only venue that would have them, the band self-produced a full-length album and a four-song EP before finally succumbing to the wretched curse of the black cat. They have not been heard from since.
